Jodon provides optical accessories for a wide range of applications

Our holographic section is vast, encompassing everything from knuckles & rods to spatial filters, beam splitter attenuators and holographic plate holders. You are certain to find what you need for your beam steering needs.

Collimators and Line Generators are primarily for use with smaller Low Power Lasers (1/2 to 5mW).

The PZT devices are for large High Power Lasers (7 to 50mW). Uses include frequency stabilization / modulation and holographic vibration analysis.

Holographic Instruments

Beam Splitters

VBA-200 Variable Beam Attenuator - The VBA-200 is a variable reflectivity aluminum mirror. When rotated, any relative intensity ratio between the two beams may be selected. High quality optics coated with SiO2.

Holographic Plate Holders

MPH-45 X-Y Micropositionable Plateholder - Our most popular plateholder. A must for any serious holographer. Precise X-Y adjustment. Ideal for tests using real-time analysis. Powerful tool for scientific and industrial applications, such as non-destructive testing, vibration analysis, and surface deformation.

PH-45A Standard Plateholder - General purpose plateholder, ideal for double exposure holography or time average vibration. Kinematic gimbal mount for vertical or horizontal adjustment.

UPH-100 Universal Plateholder - General purpose holography where versatility and low cost are important. Large plate capabilities, adjustable jaws accommodate any plate size 1 x 1 to 10 x 12 inches.

DRT-45 Dual Real-time Plateholder - Ideal for simultaneous real time and time average holography and holographic filter work. Excellent for vibration analysis. Two real-time plateholders separated by a one inch air space. May be used separately or simultaneously.

Rods, Knuckles, & Mounts

Rods & Knuckles - Jodon offers a wide selection of instrument support rods and knuckles kinematically designed and precision machined in aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish to prevent stray light reflection.

Adjustable Post Mounts - The adjustable post assembly can be mounted on a steel or magnetic base or directly to a table. It allows up to a 2″ height adjustment and 360 degree rotation.

Bases

Steel Bases - Jodon offers an array of sturdy bases with bottom relief and 3 feet, providing table contact for kinematic stability. Jodon steel bases are finished with a black wrinkle non-reflective protective enamel.

Magnetic Bases - The magnetic instrument bases for stable mounting on ferromagnetic surfaces are equipped with 90 degree travel On/Off controls. An array of pre-tapped holes on the top surface facilitates instrument mounting.

Steerers & Tilters

BA-500A Beam Steering Instrument - This precision interferometrically stable instrument provides the horizontal and vertical beam steering function between a laser and its associated optical elements. It has been expressly designed to save set-up time and offer greater instrument flexibility.

Spatial Filters

LPSF-100 Lens Pinhole Spatial Filter - The LPSF is a compact, versatile instrument with X,Y & Z pinhole movement sensitive enough to to allow the use of pinholes as small as 3 microns, and microscope objectives of 60x or greater. Enables quick alignment and once aligned, the pinhole can be removed and replaced without touching the alignment controls. Also sold as a package with the BET-25 and BET-25IR Beam Expanding Telescopes.

PZT Devices

Piezoelectric Mirror Drive - The MD-44 miniature PZT drive is used primarily in laser cavity frequency stabilization or modulation. Axial mode shift up to 20MHz per volt.

EV-30 Piezoelectric Shaker - This unique device is a dual-PZT crystal sandwich transducer designed to excite or induce mechanical vibrations into test pieces at frequencies as high as several hundred kHz. Well suited for holographic non-destructive testing. Max. loading 100 pounds.

EV-100 Piezoelectric Shaker - Designed to excite or induce mechanical vibrations to test pieces at frequencies as high as several hundred kHz. Well suited for holographic non-destructive testing. Max. loading 500 pounds.

Collimators and Line Generation Instruments

FLC-5 Collimator - Expansion ratio 5x, focusing 1 meter to infinity.

ALC-5 Focusable Collimator - Expansion ratio 5x, focusing 1 meter to infinity. Non-rotating optics. High quality, black anodized construction.

ALC-10A Collimator - Expansion ratio 10x. Made of heavy-duty PVC (type 1) for rugged indoor or outdoor use.

ACLP-3 Focusable Line Projector - Permits the user to change the line width at any distance within its range. Anti-reflection coated optics.

BET-25 Beam Expanding Telescope - Expands up to 27mm. Combines our LPSF-100 spatial filter with our highly precise, two element, coated output lens system.

BET-25IR Infrared Beam Expanding Telescope - Expands up to 25mm. Combines our LPSF-100 spatial filter with our highly precise output lens system. Zinc Selenide material provides high transmission at the 3.39 micron wavelength.

Laser Optical Power Meters

PM-450B Optical Power Meter - Self-contained precision analog laser power meter. No external power or batteries required. Five power ranges on 2 scales cover 1mW to 100mW. Resolution as low as 20uW (on the 1mW scale setting). Calibrated to 633nm, and includes a spectral response curve for visible to near IR.

PM-200 Power Meter - Hand-held digital power meter. NIST traceable. Ideal for field service technicians. Detachable detector for confined area use. Resolution 100uW to 20mw. Calibrated to 633nm.

PM-200DP Power Meter - Hand-held digital power meter. Detachable detector. High resolution - 1uW to 2mW. Backlit display. Calibrated 633nm.

PM-200DP-670 Power Meter - Hand-held digital power meter. Detachable detector. High resolution - 1uW to 2mW. Back-lighted display. For use with laser diodes. Calibrated 670nm.

PM-200AB Power Meter - Hand-held digital power meter. Detachable detector. Resolution 10uW to 10mw. 3Hz sample rate. Calibrated 633nm.
