MODEL EV-100 Piezoelectric Shaker for Holographic Vibration analysis
For shaker applications in:
- Jet engine blade vibration analysis
- Casting void analysis
- Weldment testing
- Transducer design and calibration
- Laminated bond analysis
MODEL EV-100

Part Number 1009
The EV-100 piezoelectric shaker is designed to induce mechanical vibrations into test objects at frequencies as high as several hundred kHz. While designed principally for holographic non-destructive testing of devices such as turbine blades, thin wall castings and blowers, the EV-100 also has applications in areas where moderate displacement, high frequency, and low cost are factors.
For holography, this shaker can be electrically connected to any low power audio oscillator providing 30 volts into a 600 ohm load. Examples of this type of power supply are the HP-200AB or HP-201C. For holographic applications, drive voltages from several volts to twenty volts provides adequate excitation for most vibration analysis experiments.
